Mölymyrsky tells about Sauli, a boy who hates noise and loves silence and peace and immersing himself in his own imagination. But everything changes when the school starts. The school is full of sounds and hubbub. And even after school day the noise follows him home when his family members perform their daily tasks...
As an illustrator I wanted to create a clear visual distinctions between spreads full of noise and those that show calmer moments. I hoped this would help explain noise over-sensitivity to those who don't experience it, as well as bring familiarity to those who do.
